O’Keeffe O’Brien Lyson Foss Attorneys is proud to have participated in the collection of 10,548 meals for the Great Plains Food Bank with the Young Lawyer Section Feed Your Community food drive. The drive was held from March 31 to April 10 and benefited North Dakota’s largest provider of hunger relief.
About the Drive
Joining over 50 law firms in the largest state-wide food and funds drive in the history of the Great Plains Food Bank, O’Keeffe O’Brien Lyson Foss was able to contribute to the over 4,500 pounds of food and over $1,600 of monetary donations during the food drive. Everything collected will go towards the 310 charitable feeding programs in 113 communities across North Dakota and Minnesota.
“It’s such an honor to be part of such an impactful initiative. The Great Plains Food Bank helps our own neighbors in our own community and to know that we played a part in it is great,” attorney Tatum O’Brien Lindbo said.
About the Great Plains Food Bank
The Great Plains Food Bank is a local program of the Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota devoted to ending hunger in North Dakota and western Minnesota. As the largest hunger-relief organization in North Dakota, they assist one in ten who seek emergency food assistance. Through donations of grocery products and other needed items, they help serve food pantries, soup kitchens, emergency shelters, and other programs to help the hungry and homeless.
