O’Keeffe O’Brien Lyson Foss is Providing Unique Work Experience for New Moms

At O’Keeffe O’Brien Lyson Foss, we are dedicated to creating a unique, flexible and family-oriented environment for our employees. With a young and driven team, we strive to provide a welcoming work culture for everyone – including some newborns which can be seen around our office.


Babies at the office?

Yes. Babies at the office. There are a few employees who are new mothers or about to be new mothers, and to help acclimate them to their roles as working, new moms, we are giving our employees the option to bring baby to work!

According to a recent study conducted by the Working Mother Research Institute, some of the top drivers of engagement associated with working mothers include having confidence in company leaders, having managers’ actions match their messages, and having control over their work. O’Keeffe O’Brien Lyson Foss is helping new mothers feel in control of their work by implementing a new policy regarding bringing their babies to the office.

A supportive environment.

“This new policy allows for new mothers to spend time with their new babies while welcoming them back to the workplace. It creates an environment these new mothers are comfortable in and makes for a more fluid transition back to working life,” said partner Tatum O’Brien Lindbo.

Currently, there is one new baby that can be seen around the office. The team is excited to be joined by a second infant shortly with another employee having her baby this week. Congratulations to the new mothers, and welcome to our newest “little employees.”
