Ted was born and raised in Watford City, North Dakota. Ted attended the University of North Dakota, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Before pursuing his law degree at the University of North Dakota School of Law, Ted worked in the oilfield as a Lead Operator, where he gained invaluable experience in hard work and leadership. During law school, Ted worked with the firm as a law clerk. He also served as President of the Energy Law Association, acted as a Teaching Assistant for first-year legal writing classes, and contributed as a Burtness Scholar Research Assistant. Recognized for his exceptional abilities in trial and oral advocacy as well as legal writing, Ted was selected by his professors into the Order of Barristers.
Ted practices primarily in business and commercial litigation, where he leverages his practical experience and exceptional advocacy skills to achieve favorable outcomes for his clients.
