When I receive a call from a client in jail, my first step is to obtain some sort of case info so that I can pull up their case. That, right away, is pretty reassuring for clients and shows that I can already get information from outside sources besides them to explain the situation, and I’m able to tell them, “This is what you’re potentially dealing with here.”

I can explain the legal process moving forward and assure them that if they get us on board, we’ll be there to help them through the entire process.
