Lindsey grew up in Larimore, North Dakota. He graduated from Larimore High School. He continued his education at the University of North Dakota (UND). His first internship was in North Dakota. His first job after law school was in North Dakota. Lindsey knows North Dakota and Minnesota – the people, the courts and the practice of Criminal Defense.

While at UND, he earned his bachelor’s degree, majoring in Criminal Justice and minoring in Sociology and Political Science. It was an excellent course of study to prepare him for law school. Upon graduation, Lindsey continued at UND, studying at the UND School of Law. While a law school student, he was a member of the Law Review, Moot Court and the National Association of Criminal Defense. His internship was at a Grand Forks law firm that focused primarily on cases representing clients charged with criminal offenses.

After graduating from law school, he joined a Grand Forks law firm as an associate attorney, where he built his criminal defense practice. After a few years, Lindsey moved to Fargo, where he built a solid law firm focused exclusively on Criminal Defense representation. When his partners retired, he joined O’Keeffe O’Brien Lyson Attorneys  – where his focus is exclusively criminal defense. Lindsey knows Criminal Defense!

He represents clients charged with misdemeanors, felonies, drug and property crimes, DUI/DWI, and juvenile matters. He’s been defending people in the Red River Valley area for more than 25 years. His experience and success provide him with the knowledge and tools to help people navigate the legal system.
