Katie M. Johnson
Katie Johnson works hard. She always has. Katie learned the importance of hard work at an early age while growing up in Grafton, North Dakota. As an undergraduate at Minnesota State University Moorhead she worked hard earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal Studies. Katie put her skills to work after graduation as a paralegal working for a private law firm in Fargo and for a county prosecutor’s office in Moorhead, Minnesota.
Her experience as a paralegal inspired her to attend law school. Katie earned her law degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law. While in law school, Katie was the technical editor for the North Dakota Law Review and worked as a law clerk for a family law attorney in East Grand Forks. After graduating from law school, Katie was employed as a judicial law clerk for the South Central Judicial District in Bismarck, North Dakota, where she worked for nine district judges.
After completing a two year term as a judicial law clerk, Katie became an O’Keeffe O’Brien Lyson Foss team member in August 2016. As an attorney at the firm, she works hard for her clients and is not afraid to go the extra mile. She strives for success and she has prepared well with education and real-world experience.
