Annie Jensen is an attorney who makes it a point to always be fully prepared. She’s proactive, detailed oriented, does her research and prepares well to represent her clients in court.
Annie grew up in Jamestown, ND. She attended North Dakota State University, graduating cum laude with degrees in psychology and sociology. She went on to graduate with distinction from the University of North Dakota School of Law.
As a student at NDSU Annie was a developmental psychology research assistant focused on bullying and victim behavior. She presented posters at regional and national conferences. She also was a tutor in the TRIO program, helping other students in statistics, psychology, and sociology, was a member of Psi Chi, the Psychology Honor’s Society and Alpha Kappa Delta, the Sociology Honor Society, and she received the Faculty Excellence Award for her work in and dedication to research. While at UND she was a Student Director of the Law Clinic and was active in Law Women’s Caucus, Public Interest Law Student Association, and Student Trial Lawyer Association.
Annie has gained experience during her four years of clerking for the Honorable Donna K. Dixon in Roseau and Kittson counties in Minnesota and for a district court representing a six-county area in northwest Minnesota. While in Roseau, she was an active member of the Community Justice Coordinating Committee, Roseau County Coalition, Children’s Justice Initiative, and the DWI Court staff in both Roseau and Kittson counties. She also has gained experience working at a law firm in East Grand Forks where she specialized in family law, municipal law, and civil litigation.
She joined the O’Keeffe O’Brien Lyson Foss team in January, 2016. Annie focuses on general litigation.
